To file a VA claim with NABVETS you will need the following items:

  • DD214
  • Type of discharge must be honorable to receive benefits.
  • Both active duty and civilian medical records
  •  If you are filing an upgrade claim, you will need the last VA rating
  • Decision letter and most recent letters from the VA.
