Shirley Chatters
Shirley Chatters retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service in Aerospace Control and Warning. She has an Associate degree in Aerospace Technology, Bachelors Degree in Psychology and pursing a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management at Chapman University. She has ten successful years experience in providing coaching, consultation /facilitating and placement of Dislocated Workers. Facilitated a team of ten marketing representatives for 21 partners thru out Pierce County. In 2005 a Motivational Speaker for 254 public job seekers during the Tacoma Dome Job Fair. Coordinated monthly employer orientations between Employment Security and Tacoma Pierce County & Training Consortium. She provides training for Career Change, Resumes Development, Military Transferable Skills and Business Card development to Dislocated Workers. Ms. Chatters facilitated a Job Club which resulted in 100% placement rate. Worked with the Pierce County Training Consortium Business Team that received the Best Practice Award. Shirley has worked with over 500 employers throughout Washington State. She was instrumental in posting job orders to the Work Source Website for the Washington State, posting at least 35 jobs per day. Shirley has hundreds of testimonials from clients in her job club. She is currently employed with the Federal Government at Fort Lewis, Washington.
