Edna M. Lassair
Edna M. Lassair was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Joined the Air Force in January 1977 as a Medical Service Specialist and worked as a Recruiter and Personal Specialist before retiring in June 1995. After retiring she completed a BS degree in Business Management at the University of New Orleans in 2001. She trained as a Veteran Service Officer with Paralyzed Veterans of America and worked as a Service Officer with the Military Order of the Purple Heart. After working with the service organizations and having problems with her claim. She wanted to learn more about the claims process from the Veterans Administration’s perspective to help veterans with their claims. After working other jobs she finally got a job with the Veterans Administration as a Rating Veterans Service Representative, which is her current job at the Seattle Regional Office.
