Dayspring-Fitch & Sons Funeral Directors was established in 1987 by Zane K. Fitch, Sr. to provide the very best in personal and professional care to the Seattle and Tacoma areas. Because of our individual and compassionate service, we rapidly became a major firm in our communities. Our commitment to helping families has helped us to create a reputation of excellence; we are proud of our tradition of service, and we share it with all families who honor us by selecting us in their time of need.
Born in Seattle, Washington in 1956, Zane K. Fitch, Sr. grew up in Texas and Oklahoma. After moving back to Washington in 1984, Zane spent four years at two of Seattle’s oldest funeral firms as a funeral service director and journeyman embalmer before founding Dayspring & Fitch Funeral Directors.
Dayspring & Fitch Funeral Directors became the sole successor to the Allen’s Evergreen Funeral Home, and after 10 years, merged with the Wilson Financial Group, a minority concern from Texas.
Our dedication to the families of our community continues well beyond the doors of our home; we are actively involved in numerous local, state, and national organizations.
