I believe everyone knows that Harvey Brooks was promoted to Vice President of NABVETS and Lloyd Burroughs was promoted to Regional 1 Director at the National Convention. An election will be held on Saturday December 1 to fill the Washington State Commander’s Position.
I am running for the NABVETS Washington State Commander’s position, which will Lloyd will be vacating. I am asking for your support in this endeavor.
Most of you know my background. I created the Tacoma Chapter in 2004 and served as Tacoma’s Chapter Commander until 2010. In 2004 we worked aggressively with Harvey and Lloyd to make Tacoma a Claim’s Processing Center. Also we have worked very hard as a VSO, which many veterans has been awarded Service Connections.
In 2010 we started a new NABVETS Chapter in Seattle called the Seattle Veterans Brotherhood. This chapter is growing and it is starting to do great things.
We believe that the best is yet to come if we work together. Again, I ask for your support.
