To file a VA claim with NABVETS you will need the following items:
- DD214
- Type of discharge must be honorable to receive benefits.
- Both active duty and civilian medical records
- If you are filing an upgrade claim, you will need the last VA rating
- Decision letter and most recent letters from the VA.
